Unless otherwise indicated, all concerts will be performed at St. Thomas Church located at 383 Huron Street, Toronto, Ontario (near Bloor and Spadina) with a pre-concert introduction to the evening music at 7:30 p.m..

Voices welcomes special guests, the Silverthorn Symphonic Winds, in a world premiere of
Vivaldi’s Gloria, a new arrangement for choir and wind ensemble by Dr. Craig Hawkins. Also on the program is seasonal music for this festive time of the year. You won’t want to miss this!

Come and celebrate the trio of master composers that were all born in the year 1685. In addition,
2009 is the year of Handel, as the world commemorates the 250th anniversary of his death, and
March 21 also marks the birthday of Johann Sebastian Bach. Voices will perform Bach’s Cantata BWV 61 Bleib bei uns, Handel’s original version of the Foundling Hospital Anthem, and Domenico Scarlatti’s Missa Quatuor Vocum.

As the choir closes out another musical season, Voices will present an evening of folk songs from around the world and European madrigals. You are invited to take an historic musical journey with the choir through music and folk tales.
